Beginning in Volume 2,
lesson time is typically increased to forty-five minutes. Also at this
level, students use the computer lab before or after their lesson to
study music reading, theory, and history.
Students perform
regularly in group classes, music parties in students’ homes, and formal
recitals. These opportunities are held throughout the school year and
are motivational events for everyone.
A studio lending
library provides a variety of books, CD’s, and videos to help both
children and adults discover more about the world of music. Students benefit from
participating in special events such as Suzuki workshops and other
musical events held in Louisville and other cities. Families are
encouraged to attend good professional concerts as well. |
